Terms of Service

Linkr is an online platform that connects people and businesses in Lagos with musical and creative talent for events. Hosts find and book acts; acts receive bookings and get paid through the platform. Linkr is operated from Lagos, Nigeria, and these terms are governed by Nigerian law.

Every booking is an agreement between the host and the act. Linkr provides the platform, the payment handling and the tools around the booking, but is not a promoter, manager, employer or agent of any act, and is not a party to any performance agreement, recording arrangement, publishing arrangement or revenue split between users. Acts on Linkr are independent service providers.

An account is either a host account or a talent account, tied to one email address. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details private, and be at least 18 years old. Talent profiles become publicly visible only when published, and identity verification is required for the verified badge.

Payments are processed by licensed payment providers. When a host pays for a booking, the funds are held and only released to the act after the host marks the event complete. Linkr charges acts a 10% commission on completed bookings. There are no signup fees and no user subscriptions. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never touch Linkr's servers.

If a booking is cancelled before completion, the held amount is refunded to the host. If something goes wrong at an event, either side can raise a dispute and the held funds stay put until the dispute is resolved.

Keep bookings and their payments on the platform. Content you publish on a profile must be yours to use and must not mislead hosts about who performs. Linkr can suspend accounts that break these terms, attempt fraud, or misuse other users' information.

Linkr provides the platform as it is. To the extent Nigerian law allows, Linkr's liability for any claim connected to a booking is limited to the platform commission Linkr earned on that booking. Linkr is not liable for the acts' performances, equipment, or conduct at events.
