Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026. Written for the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

What we collect

Account data: your name, email, password (stored as a hash), phone number and, for hosts, an optional business name. Talent profiles add the profile you choose to publish: username, photo, categories, areas, bio, rate, links and media. Bookings add event details, messages sent through the platform, and payment records.

Card details are collected and processed by our licensed payment provider, not by Linkr. We store payment references and amounts, never card numbers. Payout bank details for acts are stored to send transfers and are validated with the payment provider.

Identity documents

Verification asks for a government ID document (NIN slip, driver's licence or passport). The document is stored in a locked bucket, reviewed by the Linkr team, and deleted after the review - approved or rejected. We do not collect or store ID numbers in text form.

How we use data

To run the platform: showing published profiles to hosts, processing bookings and payments, sending booking notifications, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share with

The payment provider (for payments, refunds and payouts), infrastructure providers that host the platform and its database, and authorities where Nigerian law requires it. Published talent profiles are public by design; everything else is not.

Your NDPR rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion of your account and data. Messages and booking records that the other party needs for their own records may be retained in de-identified form. Requests go to hello@linkr.ng and are answered within 30 days.

Retention and security

Account and booking data is kept while your account is active and for the period Nigerian law requires for financial records. Access to personal data is restricted, transport is encrypted, and row-level security controls what any account can read.
